Tire Choice for 63 Plymouth Running Super Stock?

What is the best Slick to run on a 63 Plymouth in Super Stock, and why?

I hear some say 28x9 and others say 29.5x9

30 x 10.5 radial if it will fit. In Super Stock you can run as big a tire as you want.

I have 31x10.5w non-radial on right now. I was reading the rules and it looks like it says up to 14". Is a radial slick that much better?

Looking at the availability, there appears to be two different types of compounds. Which is better for my situation?
