In addition to finding cooling fan and lights not wired to switch box (now fixed), I asked Jerry if he could measure the rear axle hub offset so I can order rear disk brakes - to reduce weight. When he pulled a drum, he found the shoe mounting nails and spring retainers missing.
A new shoe mounting kit will be here tomorrow. I don't recall ever pulling a rear drum on that car the last time I owned, as the brakes always felt great and had no funky feel or sound.
New carbs are on, and the car sounds great. She's all polished (including wheels) and almost ready to go racing.
