Part of the “Winter Freshen Up” for the wagon is replacing all of the Lexan with a new Scratch Resistant Polycarbonate. A previous report showed the old windows removed and just fitting (after much rearranging) on a 4’X8′ sheets templates.

Yesterday they were cut out with a Jigsaw. Next, they’ll have their edges smoothed and precision fitted. I also drilled out the bolt holes for the machine screws and nuts used to attach the windows. I’m in the process of installing rivet nuts so it is no longer a 2-man (with one inside the car) job to remove and install.

Stay tuned for updates.
