These are usually licensed and insured transporters of boats, cars, motorcycles and RV trailers. Whenever they have room, they look to see if there's anything to be picked up and dropped off on their route - and they bid on it. It's usually high and negotiable. I've swooped everything from a golf cart to a rear axle through them.
