I sanded of the drips my shop rat left when he dyed red four years ago, wiped down with grease & Wax remover, and stayed a total of 6 coats of VHT interior paint. It's essentially black paint with an adhesive promoter and a flex agent. I sprayed two light tack coats then a wet coat using 1 can per seat. I let dry 24 hours and then another two coats of tack and one wet, with another can each seat.
