    Now that NSS racing is over for most of us, what plans do you have for your car over the Winter?

    So far the underside has need scraped and degreased, and waiting to be painted. All of the carpet has been ripped out, and New carpet will be installed after I Rewire the car and make a seat adjustment

    To be done:

    Inside
    • All unneeded wiring removed and the car rewired with K&R switch and circuit board
    • the floor ground down to bare metal
    • New seat mounting holes drilled to move seat forward 1"
    • All unused holes welded up
    • Inside of floor painted in POR15 Silver
    • New Carpet
    • New headliner
    • Seats wiped down with Acetone and redyed
    • New 5pt harness
    • New window net mounting
    • Cage repainted in hammered black
    • Make a rollbar mounted tire gauge holder
    • New & bigger low oil pressure light
    • Clean or replace door panels
    Chassis
    • Going from 33" Slicks to 31"
    • Clean and polish both sides of the wheels before tire change
    • Going from 4.71vto 4.64 gear
    • Modify Driveshaft loop
    • Take Driveshaft to be balanced
    • While slicks and drive shaft are out, the underside floor will be painted POR15 Silver, the 4-link and read end Red, and the frame/Sub-connector rails black
    • Send shocks to Afco to Dyno to see if they're the reason the left all if a sudden lifts higher than right on launch
    • Change brake pads on all four corners
    Drive train
    • Trans out to install Lokar Trans dipstick
    • Locate and seal trans leak
    • Install new ATI Convertor
    • Check and adjust pinion angle
    • Change Engine oil/filter
    • Maybe (if time) Weld up some Stainless Steel Headers
    • Bump starter switch on firewall
    • Run the valves
    • Disassemble and dip carbs before rebuilding to duplicate Doug Duell's - which are currently in car
    • Maybe set up a spare lid with Holleys
    Body
    • New Roof chrome strips
    • Detail the back area where fuel cell/weight boxes/batteries are
    • New Lexan sideband back Windows and lettering
    • Maybe new windshield if time permits
    • Complete Detail of wrap
    • Sand and repaint bumpers
