Here's the story, I had someone freshen a motor for me and he ordered a Molnar crank and rods, and stock ICON .030 over 4.50 pistons. The Block and Head had been around and milled a few times, so the pistons sat high in the hole, and I had to order .120 thick Cometic Head Gaskets for a lot of money and a lot of wait time. The rocker and pushrod geometry in the engine sucked and in less than 10 passes, the rocker on Special came off the pushrod twice. I had the rockers and Pushrods changed, but the car was a 1/10 slow. A vacuum test showed Special had a bent value.
The motor was taken to Jeff Taylor Performance and he was told to rebuild the motor to one he could stake his reputation on - regardless of what almost new parts he wanted to replace Among the parts he replaced were the stock pistons, in favor of custom pistons with the wrist pin .060 higher, to bring the pistons lower for zero clearance.
So, .060 Cometics are on it now in the motor. These head gaskets are in excellent usable condition. So, if you have a .030 over 4.50 pistons and a Wedge head, and you need a .120 thick head gasket - this pair can save you a couple hundred bucks and 6 month wait.
$100 for the pair, plus the ride. They'll fit in a large Priority Mail Box after being wrapped tight in Plastic wrap and stuffed with bubble wrap all around.
