  • Walmarts that appear to be friendly to overnight Motorhomes with Trailers

If you've overnight parked at a Walmart on the way to a race, please Share the location and your Experience there.

I'll start off with my favorites, but please take the 2 minutes to help Racers in motorhomes find the best ones by adding your favorite, and adding others as you find them.

The best format is to add the Title Walmart City, State
    in large font and bold

Next do a quick search for that Walmart and screen print the store info

Paste (ctrl V) the screen print under title

Give a short description on why a good Walmart to park at.

If you need more clarification - ask.

    Walmart in Atlanta Texas

This right on TX 59 close to the 90 degree turn on the Southside of town. It's about 20 miles south of Texarkana.

I've parked there dozens of times as it is 300 miles from my home/shop. I leave at 1PM to not deal with 50 miles of traffic and get there at about 6pm. Easy to get in and out with long rig, lots of grass for dog walking, and good place to load up with supplies. Truck Stop Diesel prices in the towns just north (Queen City) and south (Jefferson) are the best in the country,

About 40 miles south of Atlanta id Marshall, TX. It's a little smaller lot, but works well also.

On the east side of I-75 on Hwy 90, about 10 miles South of the I-10/I-75 intersection. Good stopping point hen coming from North or West to South Florida tracks. Navigation is a little tighter than many for long rigs - but I do it with 80' of motorhome and stacker.

Real close to where I-57, I-55 and Hwy 60 intersect

I have stayed there dozens of times Heading to Chicago, Indy or St. Louis. Really easy negotiating through the lot, and the Store is one of the better ones.

A little East of Memphis and a little more West of Nashville, it is a good stopping point for us when heading to Bowling Green. Best way to enter the parking lot is from the back of the store and park by the grass at the Sam's Club.

              About 2.5 miles off I-20
              Exit US 78
About 100 miles East of Atlanta and 25 miles West of Augusta.
About 210 miles Southwest of Rockingham, which is where we're headed to.

Easy to get my big ass rig around the parking lot and pointed towards the exit. A huge field of cut grass for walking dogs right there.
Deb went in to get groceries, and said the Cashiers look bored and are rude.
              Good Cell service on AT&T
