While in Orlando, Jerry found the dampener in the Vitamin C only had one bolt in it. It was just before the class was to be called for the first round, so the track fix with what could be found was ugly.

Home I ordered a set of ATI replacement bolts. They arrived and I figured it would just be a case of pulling the balancer, take out the optional bolts, chase the threads and install the new bolts.

As you can see, someone at some time sheared three of them. The car has been out of my hands for five years. I Inspected it but missed the balancer.

So, I look into what it takes to rebuild



However, it looks like the equipment you need, like the dies to press out of shell, are about $800.
